# Obtain IT Support
Reach out to your team members for support in using ADS provided services, such as GitLab, Mattermost, MacBooks, and applications managed by ADS.
For services provided and managed outside of ADS, such as government-furnished Windows machines, Active Directory accounts (for logins to Microsoft technologies), and access to various applications, contact the IT Service Desk (ITSD). If you are not sure whether to contact the ITSD, reach out to an ADS team member to learn about the proper group to provide support. A list of services provided is available through the [ServiceNow Service Catalog](https://commerce.servicenowservices.com/sp?id=sc_category&catalog_id=-1). To obtain support:
* Submit a ticket through [ServiceNow](https://commerce.servicenowservices.com/sp?id=index)
* Email the ITSD at ITServiceDesk@doc.gov
* Call 202-482-5010 and choose option 4

# Maintaining Your DOC Account
By policy, all non-Federal employee accounts expire within one year. The IT Support Desk sends email notifications from ServiceNow warning about upcoming DOC account expiration 30 days prior to expiration.
To ensure continued access to DOC resources, forward the notification to your program manager and your COR so that your account can be renewed before expiration.
# Online Status and Leave Notification
## Mattermost
Use the [Mattermost Web, CRM, SharePoint :sunny: channel](https://mm.commerce.gov/everyone/channels/web-solutions-and-crm) to determine whether a team member is available. Update this channel when you start your day, end your day, or are away for a period of time so that other team members know your availability.
## Microsoft Teams
You can also use teams to update your status by selecting that you are away or offline. If you "set status message" you can notify others that would like to connect with you that you are away from keyboard AFK. This will also allow you to set a duration time for how long you expect to be away for.
## Outlook Calendar
Update the Common & Administrative group calendar with upcoming leave.
## Outlook Email
Use the automatic replies feature in Outlook to notify others that you are out of office, on vacation, or not available to respond to e-mail messages while you are out. Add a note of who to contact in your absence for obtaining similar support.
